Paula's online gardening journal... since i can't seem to keep a written gardening journal going, i'm attempting to create (and update)this electronic one. Hopefully it will last longer than the written versions. Basic garden information... Zone 5 in Western Pennsylvania

Fall Planting & transplanting
This evening the weather felt cool and the clouds moved in. The breezes helped to motivate me to plant the Austrian Pine that I purchased on sale. It's about 2 ft. high. Planted along the property line near the lilacs. I also transplanted two stella doro daylilies from under the birch tree to the outer sidewalk bed. I think it will be a nice compliment to the creeping phlox. I want to transplant three more stella d'oros.
