It's a rainy day and with the rain comes new hints of green in the garden. The snow drops are blooming and i saw one bud of Winter Aconite today... a little spot of yellow. I've seen new growth on the spiderwort, crocus, geranium and many other plants. I'm glad that i remembered to move the barn statuary... there are aconite buds peaking through the soil where it was.
Soon i will need to cut the dry grass and dead plant parts. The birds have been enjoying them throughout the winter.
